This sounds sooo cool! We're planning on slowly working through the old challenges and being ready to sign up for next year. (I hear that should happen around June.)

Editing to that I believe this is aimed at about 5th-8th grade level but that doesn't mean you couldn't tweak it to your needs.

Very cool! I'll throw in here that if you haven't caught it already, Discovery Science is re-running Carl Sagan's "Cosmos" series on Tuesday nights, I'm loving it, but an (interested!) kid could follow it too. It's part way through the series, but maybe they'll repeat? And each episode stands on its own, concepts-wise.

I haven't had a chance to look at it yet but I definitely will! Thanks for sharing the link!

the experiments are easy to do and the kits are pretty complete and the experiments work. We've had a lot of fun with it

every year that I get these things I thing to myself - I should share this on yaaps. Really!
But then - oh the connections that need to be made between head and hands and keyboard and finding the link and figuring out how to cut and paste it - oh my! - I just don't get around to it until it seems too late. then it's, well, too late.

OOOH! Thanks for this Rach! I am bookmarking it to look at in more detail over the summer when I am planning our "school" stuff for the fall. I am also drooling over a bunch of stuff from this website that I found linked on the Physics Quest one - http://www.teachersource.com/
