It's been four nights now, and Sofie hasn't asked to nurse. :sob::yeah::sob::yeah:

Wednesday night I asked her if she wanted nonny, and she said "I don't have nonny now I'm a big girl! Before when I was a big girl I had nonny, but now I don't." And repeated it the next morning, and hasn't asked since.

She's my last, and she's growing up SO FAST!!!!! She just turned four on the 4th of this month. She nursed the longest of all my kids (beating out Tommy by almost five weeks).

Part of me is sad that I no longer have a baby, but I'm also very happy to be moving on to the next phase of motherhood.

I know what you mean! Charlotte will be four on April 7 - I remember when we were pregnant together, and Sophie seemed like she was born SO LONG before Charlotte. LOL

Happy weaning to you and Sophie. It's bittersweet, huh?

I should have read the whole thread! Sorry. Well, congratulations for getting so close to weaning. :embarass:

I remember that getting her gaining in the early weeks was a struggle. I'm glad she has made it so far.
