Ahhhh growth spurts and full moons.
Yeah...dh sleeps downstairs on nights like this and in the morning I hand him the 5 lb diaper as proof of my night's activities.
Its funny cause he's actually said "Should we take him to the doctor's? Is this normal??? Its like his memory has been wiped clean between kids!

Isn't that a funny phenomenon? LOL Could it be that he's not the one waking up every hour, so it simply doesn't stick in his mind from one kid to the next?
We started out so well here. With kid #1, Duncan was so active in the nighttime parenting - he would get up with him when he wouldn't settle, he'd change the middle-of-the-night blowout diapers. :)
Kid #2, Duncan was not as good. At that point we were all in a big bed, and he was at the opposite end as the baby. He would roll over and grumble when Isaac would make noises. Midnight diapers? Forget it. :ticked:
Kid #3, he didn't even sleep in the same room with us.
I'm making him sound really lame here, so I do have to add in all fairness that he is and always has been an incredibly active father. As long as he's not trying to sleep. :p

Oh, and LOL about the 5 pound diaper. Yes, I remember those as proof of a hard night's work, as well. :)

I'd be a lot less generous about this if he didn't have such a long commute to work, but he makes really good coffee for me in the morning :-)

Oh my, those eyeballs look so much like L's! When they are open, they are SOOO wide! There is no in-between either. He's either asleep or awake. Drives me bonkers that I can't re-settle him to sleep longer most days.
