So, um, I'm embarrassed. And, anyone want to buy a Nikon D40?

See, I thought it was stolen, because it's been missing for a really long time and I'd looked EVERYWHERE. (go here to read the post about how I thought it had been stolen) But this weekend I cleaned out the garage and there was this backpack that had been sitting on a shelf from a time when we'd gone hiking, then cleaned out the car in a hurry so I'd just set the backpack on a shelf... and, um, turns out my "missing" camera was in there. :embarass:

So seriously, now I have two, and I want to sell the one I just bought. I got it refurbished (by Nikon) for $410 last month. It would include the camera body, the 18 - 55 mm lens, the battery charger, the manual, the CD for the programs that come with the camera, the camera strap, and a 2G Sandisk memory card. You could buy a new one for about $490 (although Amazon.com has it on sale right now, whoo hoo! (http://www.amazon.com/Nikon-Digital-18-55mm-3-5-5-6G-Zoom-Nikkor/dp/B000KJQ1DG)) but since this is used, I'd sell it for $350.

It's a GREAT camera--when I couldn't find it, I bought the exact same thing again because I love it.
