What the heck???
Have these things been everywhere for a long time and I've just missed them? They were pretty easy to find when I googled ("steel balls truck") but I had NEVER seen anything like it in real life before.

I've seen them before and while I love a good, crass joke among grownups, I think those are just appalling, given anyone (kids) can see them.

Good grief, something tackier than a peeing Calvin or "my kid can beat up your honor student". Sigh. I can't say I've yet seen them and I do hope I can avoid them. Blech.

Luckily these were pretty far underneath the truck, at least. I'm not sure my girls would know they were anything other than part of the car (they were the steel variety, rather than the colorful or lifelike kind). "hung" more openly or in a color/skintone they would be totally shocking.

Not unknown around here. We just say there's probably a dick (owner of the truck) in front of those balls, lol. At least my kids are old enough to not need an explanation. I don't think it's in very good taste (bad choice of words, maybe) but to each his own.

I think the first time I saw them was in... 1996 or 1997? (judging from whose car I remember seeing them on and where I was stationed at the time!) Very uncool.

I saw those frequently when I lived south of the Mason-Dixon line, but my (born-and-bred-in-Rhode-Island) husband saw his first pair of those about two weeks ago. He was stunned. I was like, "you've never seen those before?" :shockfunny:
IA with everyone else in this thread. And actually had to give Dalton an explanation of them a couple months back

Wow, I've never seen those before! Pretty tasteless, but to each his own, I suppose.

I just saw some blue ones a couple days ago. One of the stupidest things ever. I've seen them just a couple times before in the last few years.

Those are the most classless, tackiest things ever. I despise them. I've seen them once - well I should say I've seen one big ass truck with them on, but apparently we have the same commute :eyes: so I see him and his big massive tacky truck balls frequently. But Mr. Classy also has big ass silver steer horns on top of the cab (like this: http://www.rockinwrodeo.com/assets/images/mounted_steer_horns_5ft_w150.jpg )so now when I see him in traffic I do anything I can to not get behind him so I have to see his disgusting truck balls swinging back and forth. :gross:

But to me they're also comical in a different way; They look so disproportionate to the huge trucks that I usually see them on, it's like the driver is saying "Look at my tiny balls"

I see them every so often around here. I wouldn't say it's common but maybe a couple of times a year, so not uncommon either. I agree that they're disgusting.
And LOL at Jen's "look at my tiny balls", that is funny.
