Here I sit with a brand new DVR service and I forget all about lost. I hope they are still showing it online.

I loved it too! It was frustrating for me tho, because my son started talking right when Kate...

leaned over and gave the little guy a hug. So I wasn't 100% sure about the name, but had guessed that during the show.

My question is, why on earth won't Jack come see the baby? What do you think?

Not only that, but I thought it looked like the baby had Down Syndrome or something. Then I started second-guessing myself, but Mike concurred - he thought so too.

Is this the Aaron from the island, or did Kate name HER baby Aaron (I think it's the Aaron from the island). Does something happen to babies born on the island, similar to something happening to pregnancies?

I thought that too at first, but I realized that at least some of that was because I was expecting a much younger baby, having totally bought that it was Kate's. But I do think that's Claire's child, Aaron, so I rewatched it, and I don't think that anymore - I think he's just bigger and older than I expected.

And thought it was very good.

I thought the boy looked like he had DS also.

I think it's Claire's baby and who knows how she got him. She is obviously passing him off as her child but I want to know what happened and why everyone else (Jack, Hurley, Sayid) have let her get away with it.

I thought it was a great episode. Although I can see why Sawyer (God, how hot was he) get's mixed messages from her! And I was disappointed that ghost hunter guy was only trying to blackmail Ben, I was hoping for something better.

that was what I thought too - that he had Downs Syndrome. Then my son talked, and I *thought* Kate said "Aaron", so then I got confused. My computer isn't letting me watch things online, so I couldn't re-watch it to see the ending.

One of the best episodes of all four seasons, in my opinion. I can't wait to find out what the deal is with everyone.

Why is Jack driving an old beat up Bronco? I was under the impression they all got impressive compensation from the airline.

What did you think of tonight (2/28)? I swear, there has been so much that has gone on that my head feels like it's going to explode trying to compartmentalize all of this information!

and his whole story. I'm such a spoiler - I don't want to post too much. I loved how he had the "medical" problem that he needed to find a solution to and so he worked so hard on it and was successful - this guy who's dropped the ball his whole life. He had to pull together his past and present and he did it! and I loved the end how the phsiscist guy had a plan to save himeself.

great to see Desmond and Saeed on screen so much.

I also seriously loved the Desmond time travel episode in Season 3. They are blowing my mind! :thud:I'm going to have to rewatch this one. Damon & Carlton wrote this one, and it shows.

Yes, I loooove seeing Desmond and Saeed. :) I am not liking what Saeed is doing off island :( but of course, we'll find out about it.

Warning--some of those sites have too many spoilers and it can ruin things. There is one that just posted the name of the character who is next to die. I didn't read it but I didn't like that I had to use my will power to not look! I have seen them post whole, detailed stories of upcoming episodes that turned out to be all right. I ended up reading them two times last year and it *RUINED* the episodes emotional impact for me totally. the one with Locke and the sub last year--I read that ahead of time not thinking the spoilers would turn out to be all real. I knew everything and it felt emotinally dead to me--no shocks or suspense. So, viewer beware of spoiler sites! :)

That's a good warning. I went to the easter egg site Debra posted earlier, and it's just a bunch of people asking for screen shots of certain scenes (that already aired) and then sitting around speculating about what they saw/what it means. But it's a good point about spoiler sites - I don't troll sites looking for lost stuff for that very reason.

Debra, where is the lost forum you go to?

The ones I go to are:

http://losteastereggs.blogspot.com/
http://www.lostpedia.com/wiki/Main_Page
http://thelostdiary.com/

There used to be more but I don't have time anymore and I lost those bookmarks. I also listen to Lost podcasts, my favorite one is by the Lost producers/writers, Damon & Carlton. You can listen to them on the following link (or download via iTunes, or LostPedia has a page with them on it and you can save those to your computer to transfer to any mp3 player or to burn to CD for the car): http://abc.go.com/primetime/lost/index?pn=podcast

FWIW, I've never seen a spoiler on those sites that was not clearly marked. I'm very careful about that as I am one that won't even watch the "Next Week on Lost" clips, I love being surprised. Most sites won't allow you to simply post spoilers, they will delete your posts if you don't use the spoiler marker (which blacks out the spoiler text so you have to highlight it to read it - actually I want DH to put that on our site).

So you should be fine as far as avoiding spoilers. Also, 98% of all spoilers on the internet are so very, very wrong. LOL But it would suck to get a real spoiler on accident. :meh: I haven't so far. :fingers:

If you want the names of the other Lost podcasts I like just let me know.

The first site you posted, the blogspot.com one, is where I read those two episodes before they aired and it was like reading the actual scrips with everything that happened, dialogue word for word, etc. It was on their main page last season. This season it looks like they try to put them into things you choose to click on or not. I recommend NOT! The screen shot section was pretty interesting.

Oh no! That's too bad. I've been going there for a few years now and have never seen a spoiler. They have a spoiler section that I avoid like the plague.

LOL! Yeah--it was in the spoiler section. I do think it is a very good site and still visit the spoiler section to see the sneak peaks but I'm careful about what I let myself read and click on. :)

...the insight we got into Clare's child back in season one? I always figured it all meant that there's something special, maybe even sinister about this child...well, that's what I took away from that episode where Clare visits the psychic, anyway. The episode before last sort of opened up that possibility to me again.

First of all, LOVE the avatar!

And yes, I was thinking that too! The psychic said that there would be great evil or something if Claire didn't raise her child, so....?

Hmmm...I'm still learning my way around this board and I clicked on quick reply. I hope this makes it. :)

But YES! That episode opened up a whole new can o' worms that I had *almost* all but forgotten. There's bound to be some freaky stuff on the way. I have this theory...considering that Ben wasn't raised by his mother either, that perhaps there is some kind of connection there (i.e. between he and the child) as well. In general, I've toyed with the idea that there is some weird thing tying these characters together. Maybe the baby has a connection to Jacob/the island presence? But I've also been thinking about the significance of mothers in general, and how the mothers keep dying. It's almost like this island is like a Neverland and these others/natives are like the lost children/lost boys (in that there doesn't seem to be a mother among them either). I can't think of many cases (well, except maybe for Hugo) that has had a positive mother figure in their life. Maybe I missed it, but I don't remember being told anything about Jack's mother. We all know about Kate's strained relationship with her Mom. Claire had a Mom in her life, but there seems to have been some strife there as well.

Oh, well...I'm just talking in circles now. But I love discussing this show. There's so much to ponder!
