Oh good lord.
First I heard from my DS about not voting for a woman in the caucus. Now he's going to be all over me because she bears a passing resemblance to Laura Roslin. :fan:
 That's too funny. She doesn't remind me of Laura Roslin at all, but I can see where people might see that.

And you have to check out TighRoslin.com (http://www.tighroslin.com/) though the picture there freaks me out because they've flipped both Tigh's and Roslin's faces. The news announcements are hysterical.
omg! I was just saying that to someone! It'll be exactly like Laura Roslin, if McCain kicks the bucket - a PTA mom suddenly becomes president! Uh... Anne, don't hit me, but while I love Laura, she was pretty much a crap-ass president (you know, all that election fixing, dictatorial powers, allowing the military to take over, stuff like that :P)
She was Secretary of Education with lots of political experience! :-P And she's still the president. :-P
Well, in addition to her appearance, I immediately think of palladin and then come around to Michael Palin.
Roslin wasn't the one who fixed the election was she? I'm trying to remember the military take over stuff, but what I really want to say is OF COURSE she would let Adama take over at some point :-P
I'd say she gave tacit consent and she certainly knew what was going on. You can see it on her face when Adama calls to congratulate her on her "victory."
Hey, I think she shoulda played dirtier in that election. Desperate times call for desperate measures!
(okay, wait. I think I may have just done the nerdiest thing of my entire life...I commented about Battlestar Galactica during a serious political discussion.)
*snort* Yes, desperate times called for desperate measures. It was all very gray and interesting. I mean, what would you do? Not going through with stealing it led to some Very Bad Stuff. Going through with it, well, what would have happened?
You don't get your nerd badge until you comment about BSG during an SPD and don't realize it's nerdy :bounce:
Really, I just don't have anything intelligent to add. Though I do like PQ's SNL ideas. But that isn't really nerdy, is it? I'm not sure what it is!
What's an SPD? I want to laugh at this but I don't get it. :bag:
And for the record, Sarah Palin reminds me more of Peggy Hill from King of the Hill, though it's been forever since I've actually seen that show.
