An old friend contacted me over the weekend, was coming through town and wanted to see me. And "oh by the way, are you interested in a threesome with my hubby and I?" (she's someone i slept with (and loved) in highschool). I said no but i still want to see you, and they didn't even stop when they came past my town. She sent a text message after they were further down the highway and said no, she'd still have seen me, but they left early. I still love her dearly but I just can't open up that can of worms.
I'm too hurt to call and ask if it was because i said no.

You did the right thing. I wouldn't call to find out more and leave their answer as what happened.
I'm sorry you're so hurt.:hugging:

Honey. Don't even call. You did the right thing, and as much as it must hurt.... Yeah. That's why. :-( They wanted something from you and that was about it.
:hugging:
You did the exact right thing. I'm sorry.

:-( I'm sorry, JaamE. You did the right thing, though. Definitely.

I wouldn't even broach the subject later on if it was because yous aid no. I would suspect that she was probably embarrassed that she asked and worried about it being uncomfortable.
((((J))))I am sorry that you are hurting. That really sucks.

Don't call. Please. You deserve better than her answer.
I'm sorry you are hurting.

You said no because it was the right answer for you, right?
Then you did the right thing.
*Hugs* I'm so sorry that you're hurting because your right answer wasn't the one they were hoping for. It's their loss. *More hugs*
