I am now just FOUR lbs away from my goal weight

I can do this and I am determined to do it before we leave on vacation this summer. I am now dropping about a pound a month. :sob: But that's been consistent for me lately.

Now, I have to decide do I adjust my goal again? If I hit my goal of 140, I'll still be "heavy" for my height but I think after 5 kids and sporting a 36DD bra, that ain't to shabby.

I'd like to be 135. I dunno. If I don't ever hit 135 will I be devastated? nah. I'd be thrilled but I'll still be in the acceptable range for my height/age. Of course i think most of my weight is in the chest...

Congratulations, Micki!!! I am so happy for you!

When I was 140 about 4.5 years ago, I felt so, so good! I really can't believe I actually weighed that once, and I would really like to get there again. Yay you!! :yeah:

I think those height/weight charts only really work for 80% or so of the population. There are those that are just plain heavier and those that are just plain lighter than the "ideal" and are healthy/well. My exSIL, for example, is 5'5" and weighs 95 lbs. She is just super-tiny in body frame and looks great/is healthy/eats lots at that weight. I am 5'4" and my best weight is somewhere around 150 - which is "too heavy" for the weight charts, but for *me* - for my body - that is an excellent weight. So - I don't put much stock in the charts other than to use as a guideline and keep in mind that every body is different.
