I don't know the legal aspects since it's not in the US, but it wouldn't he be entitled to half of this money when it's done? She should have had a friend list it for her instead. If I were her and he did get half of it, I would be tempted to do what one of the people suggested and split the motorcycle.

I doubt that the high bids will be legitimate. It seems that people always play around with this kind of thing. I also don't know why the knickers violated ebay policy. People sell secondhand clothes all the time. Maybe you can't secondhand underwear?
