I am so tired of being sick. I can't seem to figure out this whole naseous, blood sugar dropping and constantly feeling like crap thing.

The whole thing has been going on for three weeks............I can't function.

I am ready to call the midwife and beg for an appt early because I just can't get a good combination going where I feel decent for more than an hour or two.

I am only just past 8 weeks....and of course NONE of the others were like this.

1. I'm sorry you're feeling bad. I hope you get this figured out soon.

Go ahead and get seen - this is your fourth, and you KNOW what's normal for you. If it's not YOUR normal . . . get some help, hon!! It could be anemia (easily addressed) . . . she could have some ideas for you for the blood sugar too. Ask her if you can take chromium, it's been a serious miracle for Amelia. (She had such flaky blood sugar when she was little, she actually had seizures a handful of times before we figured out the issue.) I know it's no good to just tell you to eat more protein if you're sick to start with. Go ahead and give her a call!

I hate to sait it, but for me, the nausea increased drastically with each pregnancy. The first two were pretty easy, I was somewhat sick with the third. By the time Simon came along, I was sooooo sick with me. I felt like a truck had run me over for the first three months.

I hope you feel better soon!

((((((((Hugs))))))))) I'm so sorry. I think seeing the midwife early would be a good idea. I had horrible times with both pregancies, with morning sickness. Jessie's was worse with headaches and stuff. So I know if you can get any relief, you should look for it. Hope you feel better soon.

Thanks so much everyone. I feel stronger today and am trying to focus on protein.

part of the deal has been the stress I have been putting on myself to not gain too much weight. But if I HAVE to eat every hour on the hour (at least a nibble or two)...then that's just what I need to do.

I need to just relax about this whole process.

I am trying to get in early to talk about the blood sugar portion of this but we shall see.

My DH finally just got up fed me breakfast and packed a million things in my lunchbox and PROVED to me that if I eat eat eat I will feel better.

Bless his heart.

I just have to "give in" a little bit more to being pregnant.

I'm glad you're feeling better today. I'm going to agree with your dh. With Jessie, I was still working while I was pregnant and having some horrible horrible all day sickness and huge headaches.(Gotta love heat induced headaches during a south Texas summer.:sob:)

I would take a bunch of fruit, some cheese and something like a bagel. I ate this throughout the day. So for the gaining weight thing, just remember, you're only actually eating your normal meals, just taking it really slowly and eating them little by little throughout the day. Hopefully that can help you get over the mental hurdle of eating all day, cause it's not like you're eating full meals every hour. :) I hope this stage is over quickly for you.

(((((A-Marie))))))

I remember going to bed early just to escape the nausea, make sure you keep some food by the bed so you have a little nibble before you get out of bed in the morning.

There's a lot of "releasing into" in a pregnancy isn't there?

Getting away from home for a mini mind vacation helped me a lot too. Got some friends you want to visirt? Sometimes that little break - 6 hours 12 hours hell, 48 hours can snap the cycle for a bit. The more relaxed you are about meeting your body's needs the better you'll feel overall. Give yourself permission to do that!

lots of love!
