View Full Version : 100 push up challenge -- Week Two
Anyone who is starting on week one can still use the Week One thread. Anyone on week two can post in here after each day or when you finish the week--whatever works best for you. :-)
Day one of week two is finished. I can do quite a few more than I could when I started.
I peeked ahead to week three and I'm afraid, very afraid. :-P

First day done! 12, 12, 9, 7, 16! omg, I'm shaky lol
OK, week 2, day 2 done. I made myself do more than I thought I could for the last set. Maybe week 3 won't be so scary after all. Eh, who am I kidding. :-P

Day two done! 16, 13, 11, 11, 17.
And I have to say, this is where having a program to follow really helps me. I didn't want to do them today and that first set was murder. Actually, the whole thing was murder, and I wanted to try for 20 on that last set but literally collapsed halfway up on the 18th pushup. I usually find that I hit a weak spot where I feel really tired, and I think this is it, but having targets and just being determined to see the program through really made me do it today.

Week 2 done! Final day: 15, 15, 12, 12, 19. Tomorrow I get to take another exhaustion test!
Anyone else still doing this? Yoohoo?

Yes! I'm here. I just finished week two.
I'm glad you mentioned that about doing another test--I kind of missed that because I simply printed out the six charts. Week Three looks really, really intimidating to me.

I just did the exhaustion test and I dropped down a column to column two (I only managed 22 pushups). I'm secretly grateful - column 3 looked too scary!

Wooohooo!!! Good for you--22 is awesome!
All the columns for week three look scary; however, I did the exhaustion test a bit ago and OMG I can do a lot more than I did the first time I did it. A LOT. Granted, I'm only doing girlie ones right now (not that there's anything wrong with that :-P) but I'm very pleased and motivated to continue.
