I just have to share. My daughter is such an extraordinary person. She humbles me. She cares so much about others.
She has been wanting another cat (ours died shortly after we moved in here) and we have said no because F has tested positive for cat allergies and he definitely seems more healthy since we haven't had a cat. She has been looking around anyway (um...to torture herself?) and came to me crying yesterday. "Mom, I know you're going to say no but I just have to ask...I found the perfect cat for our family. PERFECT! He needs us and he would really be a great cat...I just know it." So, she shows me a picture and the listing for this cat...it's a mangy, extremely scrawny-looking, muddy-brown cat missing one leg and needing surgery on one eye (maybe losing it). I mean, honestly, like one of the most unattractive cats I have ever seen. And she was just crying, saying how much she would love him and how he would be part of our family.
I told her no, not because of who he was or because he needed help but again, because of F's allergy.
But...this is just how she is. Always rooting for the underdog. She doesn't care one whit about appearances. She thinks unusual is lovely. She just shines with goodness and faith.
I think she is the type of person who will do great things.:hearts:
I'd love to know what is special about your child!
