This is a great book! I can't say how much I have enjoyed reading it to Q, and how much he has giggled and laughed at the adventures these boys have. IMO, it's a great book for any boy to read.

(FTR, there are some swear words, and mention of "dirty pictures" ;-) But it's all in fun and not at all bad.)

I read it to DS when he was about 7, and glossed over the "dirty pictures" parts (which was easy to do even spontaneously reading out loud) because I was sort of unprepared for them. Other than that, DS LOVED the book, even the parts I thought were kind of awful (like blowing up the frogs) and we talked about those as we went along. I guess I'd say *I* didn't love it, but DS definitely did!
