Abigail has decided to do the annual Youth Triathalon here

I think it is great that she is willing to try something harder than she has ever done before. I know she can do the swimming because she does more than that in swimming lessons and biking 2 miles should be fine, but she has never run .8 miles before.

She started training for the run yesterday by running around the block twice. :loveit:

That's awesome! I doubt that she'll have any problem running .8 of a mile because it sounds like she's an active kid.

Go Abigail!! Asa is doing one next weekend and so she sometimes rides her bike when I run down to the track and then she runs a lap or two for training. They are so much fun for the kids, I bet Abigail will have a terrific time. Post pics!!!

Those are so neat! Tori did one in Kodiak, and came in second in her age division, to the delight of her Triathlete teacher :loveit:! (And her family too, of course - but none of his other students were at all interested.)

Just for fun and fitness. It is through the Y, and I think the biggest push to get her to do it was the drawing they are doing for a new Trek bike, LOL.
