My older DD's 2nd grade teacher had them answer a list of questions for a year-end memory booklet.

Here are some answers that I thought were funny. Feel free to ask your children (or yourself) and post responses.

Instructions: Finish each sentence.

1. I love to. . .read Harry Potter
2. I used to. . .be an only kid.
3. I want to. . .play trumpet when I'm nine and go to antartica.
4. I worry about. . .having a fire at my house.

Something I've accomplished: Playing Minuet #3 on my violin.
Favorite movie: Singing in the Rain
Favorite foods: Candy, mango, pineapple
A T.V. show I never miss: None. I don't watch TV

If I were the teacher I would. . .do lots of math and no writing.
If I could make a wish for the world it would be. . .no more global warming.
If I could call the President I would say. . . You should tell congress to make a law not to allow any smoking.
If I could be any person in the world I would be. . .Barack Obama. :jester:

Something I've accomplished: shooting 25 baskets
Favorite movie: Harry Potter and the Sorcerors Stone
Favorite foods: cheese, pizza, steak, pickles, apples
A T.V. show I never miss: SpongeBob


If I were the teacher I would. . .teach lots of math!
If I could make a wish for the world it would be. . .to help clean it up
If I could call the President I would say. . .no more littering!
If I could be any person in the world I would be. . .a police officer!

This is Kaden's answers(age 7):

4. I worry about. . .I don't really worry about anything.

Something I've accomplished: "Soccer and drawing squirrels(trying really hard not to :jester:) I'm actually very accomplished, but those are the things I am best at."
Favorite movie: Star Wars
Favorite foods: Broccoli and strawberries
A T.V. show I never miss: Well pretty much nothing...I like to watch movies.

If I were the teacher I would. . .teach.
If I could make a wish for the world it would be. . .a lot more plants.
If I could call the President I would say. . . hi(said in a real deadpan voice).:jester:
If I could be any person in the world I would be. . .myself.

Something I've accomplished: I beat a level on the Incredibles gamecube game.

Favorite foods: Strawberries, Pizza, cupcakes, chicken and milkshakes
A T.V. show I never miss: Monster House

If I were the teacher I would. . .teach and let them eat whatever they want in class.
If I could make a wish for the world it would be. . .that everyone would have a house.

Something I've accomplished: I've set records on Golden Sun. I also got my Arrow of Light.
Favorite movie: Prestige
Favorite foods: Ribs, chocolate chess pie, eggrolls, peppersteak
A T.V. show I never miss: Survivior and Everybody Loves Raymond

If I were the teacher I would. . .teach foreign languages.
If I could make a wish for the world it would be. . .no drugs(remember him finding my stash*, apparently he is still of the same mind).
If I could call the President I would say. . . hello how are you doing? Then I would call him an idiot and hang up. But he would probably know who I was anyhow. :rofl:
If I could be any person in the world I would be. . .me

*My stash was not drugs, it was herbs, but he thought it was drugs..very comical indeed.

4. I worry about. . .lice :rofl: {both my kids had lice this winter and she evidently is still scarred from it, she literally hyperventilated when I found the lice in her}

Something I've accomplished...flips on the trampoline in gymnastics class
Favorite movie: Scooby Doo
Favorite foods: Chicken noodle soup
A T.V. show I never miss: Spongebob

If I were the teacher I would. . .teach kids how to ready really hard books
If I could make a wish for the world it would be. . that everyone had pet fish

Isn't it nice to hear your kids say there is no one else they'd rather be than who they are? DD answered that way, too. Now, other times I might have asked her and she might have said something silly.. like Hannah Montanna or whatever, but it's nice to catch them in a realistic moment and they tell you how they really feel. :hearts:

Tommy, age 4

Something I've accomplished: "let me fink, reading a book"
Favorite movie: Spiderman (he's never seen it)
Favorite foods: spirit of sponge with no sponge in it (it's a British dessert called "syrup of sponge" but he only likes the syrup part)
A T.V. show I never miss: Maya and Miguel (they almost never watch this!)

If I were the teacher I would. . .teach you how to take pictures "wery" good outside
If I could make a wish for the world it would be. . ..to be nice
