In Threaded View you can just type right into the quick reply box and your post will come up underneath whatever post you see in the post box above quick reply. In hybrid and linear views, you have to click the quick reply icon in the post you want to reply to. I don't use those, though.
Anyway, I love it and I just had to share that! LOL!

I love it too! The only thing is....the smilie box isn't right there...ready and waiting to be used.
I wish that were so. LOL
But yes...I view the other communities that I visit in this same format that use Vb. It works for me. =) <-----cause I'm too freakin' lazy to find the smilie for it...or whatever. LOL

I'm hunting down a hack for this as we speak. I don't like that either!

Smilies should be available on the toolbar of the Quick Reply bar now.

The only downside, though, is that it doesn't offer quoting and the linear users could get lost w/o quotes.

Ah, but see I found the answer to that. You just copy the part of the post you want to quote and then click the quote icon on the toolbar in the quick reply box and voila!

Well, you do have to paste the part you're quoting between the two quote thingies. Sorry I left that part out.

Or you can paste it first, then highlight it, then hit the quote button. I think. :p
