I forget--what is the longest you heard of food proteins staying in breastmilk?

I think I have heard they can hang around for a week or two but that most times they will be out of a woman's system in a couple days. Anyone know more? Thanks!

I've read that dairy proteins can stay in the system for up to 2 weeks.

Oh, that's too bad! I was thinking to go out to eat with DH soon. I don't think D is ready to go 2 weeks. He offered to go 5 days. lol He does skip days but not close to 2 weeks. He is finally talking being done sometime soon. Maybe I will just tell him we are going to wait 2 weeks and see if that just makes him wean. I don't know. Thanks, Kerry!
