I've made it to the gym four times now. I have my first appointment with a trainer Tuesday morning. It's hard, but isn't funny how much more likely we are to do stuff we hate when we're paying for it?
Because the roads and sidewalks are getting progressively more clear, I'm also walking a lot more in the last week.
Activity level is WAY up. We just won't talk about the food stuff yet. :)
LOL! I know what you mean about going because you are paying for it! I like the gym I am at now because I see people from town, and it has a varity. but when I joined curves, I would get up every other day and say "I'm going, I PAID for it damn it!" LOL!
Good to hear your activity level is up!! Food can come later when you are ready. Maybe you'll be one of those people that just needs to crank up the activity! And you won't have to worry about the food. :fingers:

Oh, trust me. I have to worry about the food. When I was nursing G round the clock, I was consuming 3500+ calories a day just to keep weight on. Then she slowed down, but me? Not so much. :P

Maybe someday you'll join us for our Wed evening outtings to WW. Or, I can just lend you my books to read and get the gist of it.

HAHAHAHA.
I have to change my ticker. I'm actually 5 pounds HEAVIER than I was. Yes, different scale, and I suppose I'm getting closer to my period, but still. *grumble*
Also, I'm 33% fat. This was pleasantly surprising! Even though it's the high end of "healthy," it's still healthy! Woo!
ZOMG, my deltoid and pectoral muscles are killing me.
New goal: Lose 25-30 of the 48 pounds of fat (that leaves enough for boobs and butt, right?), and increase muscle mass by 5 pounds. Much more realistic than 40/15.

I figured that you would be 5lbs or so more than the scale in the women's changeroom...if I weigh myself there it's usually 4-5lbs less than what I know that I am.
So how much do you think you need to lose? I see 18 in your ticker but you said 25-30 in your post. I can't imagine you losing 30lbs...you'd disappear! :p
Good for you to be doing the trainer thing...you must be feeling very proud of yourself for doing it! :yay:

Yeah, the scale at Queen is a bit optimistic sadly. ntDo you ever suspect that scales at clubs are that way so that you'll weigh yourself there and think that the loss must be related to going there... vs. weighing yourself at home and thinking "Man, I gotta get back to working out!"

At the gym that I usually go to (I only go to the one that shannon and roberta go to on Saturdays after work) has two scales. The big slide-across-the-metal one shows the exact same weight as the one at WW.
The 2nd one that they have is a floor one that you stand on. It also shows LESS than the accurate one.
