antibiotics at 6 wks pg??

I am pretty sick (bronchitis/sinus infection for a week now). MW said 2 days ago to wait 24-48 hrs. then see how I felt... if still awful, she'd consider an antibiotic (Z-pack?) I'm still feeling pretty bad... but of course I can tough it out too, and hope it clears up on its own. What do you think??

I posted in the other forum, but if you've been sick that long and nothing you're doing is helping it, then I don't think antibiotics would be a bad idea.

What, specifically, have to you done? Before abx, I would be doing raw garlic, ecch, vit C and other immune boosters. I'd give that a few days (3-4) unless I continued to worsen. I recently took abx as the measures I was taking were not affecting any change whatsoever and I continued to worsen. If I had gotten marginally better or my symptoms plateaued, I would have held off on the abx. Now I am hoping to avoid yeast issues since I can't do dairy (and thus, lactobacillus, found only in dairy drinks here).
