I kicked ass! :loveit: It was 55 mins of actual cycling(not including warmup and cool down) and I did really good. At first I was so nervous that I would not be able to breathe and talk at he same time during the harder parts, but I did it. I am proud of myself. I did something that I have been afraid of doing and I did it well. I had a pretty big class and they were all working pretty hard and grunted and groaned...so overall it was a hit.

A little funny: At the beginning of the class I kept watching everyone very intently...waiting for that first drop of sweat to fall. :jester: Whew...it did, and then I wasn't nervous anymore. Odd huh.

Go, Jessica! And I love that you relaxed after you saw the first drop of sweat fall. Sweat proves you were doing a good job! LOL

You go, girlfriend! I told some friends at work about your accomplishments and they even said that you sound like such an inspiration. I think you're awesome :-)

AWESOME!! I meant to reply to that other thread and forgot about it... but I think it is WAY COOL that you're teaching and HECK YEAH you kicked ass. :woman:

I belonged to a gym a few years ago, and my favorite exercise instructor (at one point she was my ONLY instructor LOL because I refused to take classes from anyone else, I loved her so much) was a normal-looking mom. She kicked our asses in class but also talked about how she refused to eat stuff like low-fat frozen yogurt :gross:. She was such a breath of fresh air.
