I am very aggravavted with my Mother's doctors office (more)

About a month ago they rushed her to get some blood work to test for Multiple Myeloma (basically cancer of the plasma cells) because she she had protien in her blood on a blood test. We haven't heard anything (AND my Mom has called her Dr. twice) So all this time we are thinkning no news is good new.

Well her doctor called *today* to tell her they haven't gotten the results, and she was going to look into it.

P&PT that my Mom OK, please. Here we are thinking she's OK. Now we don't know.

Oh, I'm sorry, Sue! Keeping her in my prayers! (Very slipshod of her dr's office. Unless they are stellar in every other way, I'm sure I'd be looking for a new dr.)

My Mom REALLY likes her. And she is a very sweet doctor. But *I've* been frustrated MANY times. Like when I drop her off fo an appointment, 3 hours later she calls for a ride, 2.5 hours of those she sat in the waiting room (ITHis is getting better though, because my Mom had to walk out once after waiting 3 hours because she had guest coming.) Sigh!

I also feel like my Mom may not be being activly TREATED. There's a lot os sympathy and hand holding. BUt she need motivation and therapies.
