I suppose it was only a matter of time. The original content of the email was an article by Ken Blackwell, apparently a columnist for The New York Sun. I don't even know if anything about the article is true but it had nothing to do with any antichrist stuff.....Then at he end was a little note attached by someone that reads, in part:

According to The Book of Revelations the antichrist is:

The antichrist will be a man, in his 40s, of MUSLIM descent, who will deceive the nations with persuasive language, and have a MASSIVE Christ-like appeal....the prophecy says that people will flock to him and he will promise false hope and world peace, and when he is in power, will destroy everything. Is it OBAMA??

I STRONGLY URGE each one of you to re-post this as many times as you can! Each opportunity that you have to send it to a friend or media outlet...do it!

If you think I am crazy..Im sorry but I refuse to take a chance on the "unknown" candidate.

I got this from the same relative who sent me the email about how Obama is a Muslim and didn't use the Bible to be sworn in yada yada yada...

This time, I called her. Yes I did!! As the phone was ringing I had second thoughts and almost hung up but decided to put my big girl undies on and ask her to stop sending me those types of emails.

I explained to her why I don't care for them. Told her that while I'm sure she has only the best intentions ,that she almost assuredly feels that she's helping people by telling them this *information*, but that it's divisive and most of what is sent around is just plain lies and she's being used by the originators to merely help someone other than Obama win an election.

The thing that struck me is that then she was a little upset with me and asked how I *know* that Obama *isn't* the anti-christ. This is where I did get a little upset, but still remained calm for the most part! I explained to her that one doesn't go around accusing someone of being something repulsive and then tell that person to prove that they aren't that thing. I can't go to some random neighbor and start screaming that he's a child molester and when he denies it, I demand that *he* prove that he isn't. That it only looks bad for the people DOING the accusing, not the person being accused.

GAH!

I don't think I got anywhere but she did say that she'd stop forwarding emails to me...That's a GOOD thing!!

My dad didn't want me to call her and say anything but the thing is that I feel like my space is invaded by these types of things coming into "my home." I've started feeling like me sending her Snopes links wasn't doing the trick and frankly, it's time that I just flat out ask her to stop sending them to me.

Anyway, that's my vent for the day!!

Yay for you! In my family we would say you are a "Big Brave Dog." (this is not a negative thing! It's the highest compliment. I think it originated from the Rugrats of all places. It's the opposite of a scaredy-cat.)

but anyway, way to go! I'm impressed.

I can never remember if it's slander or libel.

It would be an interesting day in court, regardless.

It's OBAMA?? But I thought it was David Hasselhoff!?! http://www.esquilax.com/baywatch/

Good for you, that kind of stuff I find incredibly offensive and an insult to my intelligence.

Forgot to say that they are completely incorrect anyways as the antichrist is not mentioned in the Book of Revelations at all, it is only mentioned in John I & John II.
