pushing back my daughter's hair as she was laying over the toilet, vomting for everything she's worth. Poor kid.

Chaya has apparently inherited her dramatic vomiting from her dad. She literally is howling, or something. As if vomiting wasn't traumatic enough, she has to add this horrible sound. lol

So, I am preparing for this bug to wind (wynde?) it's way through each and every person in the house.

She is so calm, has no problem running to the toliet or bowl, doesn't cry.. amd actually was dry heaving and putting her hand out to the cat in the bathroom. WHOA>

Me, I was the crier, the not putting my head close enough to the toliet so my mom was trying to push me closer.. so I'm freaking out worse...

J is my panicky vomiter. He tries to run away from it as it's happening, though. Or he'll STAND at the toilet, puking AT it, without aiming downward. Sadly, he's also the one who's most likely to catch the vomit bugs, so not only do I have this sick anxious little guy, but I've got the trail of puke through the house to clean up before the cats eat it.

G, on the other hand, is a girl with a system. She holds her own hair back, she makes it to the toilet, she never misses, she gets her bowl to bring back to bed, and she's just so damned calm about it.

I hope she feels better soon, Karuna, and that no one else picks it up from her!

Last night ashley brought the kids down to the temple and was very concerned about sterling's penis as where the foreskin attaches to the head, it had become all red and painful to walk, sit and pee. I suggested that ashley take him back home and put him in a warm bath with salt.

When I went an hour and a bit later to collect sterling, I found out that ashley's taken him to the hospital! WTF!

Ashley's new wife is a real "hospital runner" and I am not. On top of that, his mom was there, and when any of us recount anything she has said, we say it in a clucking voice, to give you an idea. She's a worrier like no one I have ever met.

So, off to the first hospital they go and when they arrived, some guy was falling out of a car screaming for "them to kill me".

Ashley bundles sterling back in the car and off to Children's they went, accross town.

5 hours later, they are cleaning up the hallway bc the flu hit sterling and then they are seen by a *female* Dr and Nurse team (poor sterling). The prescribe some cream, stronger than bactroban, and send him home.

Sigh... What did they THINK was going to happen? It's an *emergency* room! A very sick, tired and sore boy is brought back home at 4 am, non the better.

i was pretty pissed that he didn't bring sterling back to me and I could have done for him at 8:30 pm*exactly* what I did at 4 am...

I know this over reaction in him is to make up for his day to day lacking, but it's hard on everyone else.

Speak of the devil, and he's sure to vomit...

Yep. 5am, J was up with the pukes. *sigh*
